Due to some amazing Premer results, Paddy Powers last man standing Tournament 14, reduced form 1116 teams to 285 left in it. I did Chelsea witht he draw and Sunderland with the draw so I have 2 chances at the 10 grand prize. Im looking at Arsenal v Hull this week and one other. Villa home to Stoke maybe?

Give t a try You can get some decent entertainment for your tenner. I got to the last 17 of tournament 9 and went out on Man City drawing at home with Hull. Shame as my plan included ManU at Pompey the following week.
I notice form PP sit e there were 13 left in tournament 9 before Saturday and someone won it at the weekend. Good luck to that man.

yep. Some people will try and pick a weaker side early on to save the bigger sides for later but I my experience its best to get through at any cost which is why this week, although Chelsea looked a dead cert to beat Everton, I used my draw option on them. I would imaging a few hundred would have done Chelsea win and saved their draw for late rounds, but you gotta be in it to win it.

Also, if you get knocked out in the first week you get automatic entry into the next tournament so its safe to have a punt on an outsider. I did Pompey at home to Burnley knowing the worst that could happen I would be put in the next tournament.

Yep English prem only. Although there is another competition run by the telegraph which is a Fantasy Football weekly Competition. £1 entry £1000 for the winner. Hard to win but a few of us at work do it, fivers in, winner takes all.

They list eleven matches and you have to pick one player from each match. They usually chuck a couple of Spanish or Italian games in.

If there are people left after 20 weeks they start again. If you get to the end of the season and the comp is still running the promoted teams come in.

Yes we could run it again, maybe in the New Year although there isn’t much scope to give prizes as it would be hard to collect money.

Yeah i see that, be much more fun if there was a little bit riding on it, and would keep people on their toes too to keep posting

I'll keep my eye out for it as i think it'd be interesting anyway (esp L1 version)
