As I recall before a ball was kicked the majority, if not all the zoners on here said they would be happy to finish 4th from bottom...fact

To end up in this position a number of things will have happened

1, we lose more than we win
2, we will have a negative goal difference
3, we will be outplayed
4, we will receive the odd tonking

Pretty obvious really if you think about it


Someone even posted on here that prior to the last 3 league games that they expected us to be entrenched in the bottom 3 but eventually escape..there were nodding heads of approval and agreement that we would not get much from Norwich, WBA, Cardiff.  We have come through these games and are not in the bottom 3...result.

What I can't now understand is the negativity from fans after 8 or 9 games with a new team which arguably has never been at full strength.

Even more dissappointing is when people express their own opinions in different threads, it always....always....end up in a slagging match, its like trying to talk to spoilt kids. How many threads have been locked due to this ?

As I stated at the started the thread, we all know this season will be hard and long, lets not make it difficult for the players or we will see the decent ones at the end of the season say

f%&k that i'm off due to poor support from the terraces


lets all grow up and get united behind the boys because i fear we will fall if we don't.

I agree fully, we have been taking points v good sides. Just scared how col u and a few other teams i predicted to be right at the bottom are picking up points at a faster rate than us. Long long way to go, 21st place here we come.

Yeah can't argue with that, it felt like we'd won the title all over again!!
