SUFC Calendar

ldnfatso

Red Rep King!
Just turned over my calendar from May to June and this is how we are looking:

May: Mark Gower (still here, just)
June: Kevin Maher (Released)
July: Charlie MacDonald (Transfer Listed)
August: Alan McCormack (Staying)
September: Steven Hammell (Long Gone)
October: Nicky Bailey (Staying)
November: Tommy Black (Released)
December: Franck Moussa (Staying)

Shouldn't these calendars be produced at the start of seasons to prevent us looking at mugshots of ex players?

Yes, you have a point, but calenders are made for the start of the year, not the start of the new football season.

Maybe southend could make a calender of legends of southend, just a thought........

Surprised nobody's suggested a TBV official calender yet.

Mind you, never having met most those responsible, I'm not sure quite how terrifying this would be!

You know what, I was just about to say that!!! ;)

It is a good idea and so is the sufc legends calender, just can't decide between the two, maybe even both!!!

You could have two different types of calenders, Official TBV calender and a legends calender.........just a thought!

I noticed this on my calender the other day. It is the same every year though, you get used to not turning it over anymore, or go straight to december

I have certainly heard of what is known as an "academic" calender ... one that runs from September > July .. with a bit of tweaking this would be much more suitable for our (and all football clubs') needs ... and i'm surprised no one has thought about it before

It would make more sense to wait until the fixture list is out, so that the club can include the fixtures on it.

What would be quite usefull is a calender issued at the start of the season, with the seasons fixtures printed on them, with cup dates etc added. I usually write them on in my scrawl and then can't read my own writing.
