We have 15 matches to go, and like it or hate it the style of play is not going to change now. Sturrock is going no where, and with Sturrock in charge the style won't change - it's not even worth debating any more, because it will not happen.

So whoever you are, whatever you feel about hoofball, direct football, whatever it's called - now is the time to get 100% behind the team. If we win, lets be happy - 3 points nearer the target - it doesn't matter how we get them now. Lets support, try to build confidence and hope the boys can scrape through.

Agreed Bazza. This is ehat I've tried to say. If Luggy decided to play with the ball on the deck suddenly then great I trust his judgement. As you say the style won't be changed and as I said on another thread he promoted Plymouth and Swindon with this style and theres no reason why he can't do it with us. We have the players as being in the top 3 for much of the season tells us. I don't like the style but if it gets us out of this division then I'll go along with it. Some of the doubters on here seem to be saying promotion won't happen and the time for an inquest should begin now. we're no where near that point at the moment and I say again I'm sure we'd be one of the three favourites to go up automatically even if that means we end up third which I'd take. Good thread Bazza.

It's not the most entertaining style of play by any means but the fact is we're top of League Two - Luggy said he knew how to get teams promoted out of this league and with 23 teams below us he's clearly right. Let's get behind PS/GC and the lads, together we can get this club back into League One come May.

I agree with the first comment but we do need to start playing direct football because we will give the ball away too much if we keep playing 'hoofball' and if we are going to play in league one next season we need to start playing direct football along the ground.
