The Business
I think away from home PS's record must be up there with the best we have had had. But at home he clearly seems incapable of getting it right.

For me the real issue at home is we are always so negative. I dont know yesterday how we even began to start with a 4-5-1 at home to a bottom few side. We can dress it up as a 4-3-3 but we all know looking at the players behind the formation it was totally negative.

Why can we not go 4-4-2 from the off. I personally would have two from Britt, BBBC and Freddy upfront with Hurst down one wing and Moshni busting a gut to get into the box for every cross that Hurst can supply. That way you have four attack minded players straight away. Even Mayor for Moshni but again we need to start putting the opposition on the back foot at Roots Hall.

How many sides have come here and run us ragged as we have no attacking threat. I really feel this has been a problem for the three years that Sturrock has been here and its the reason we are constantly poor at home. We simply dont pick enough attackers for fear of losing.

All this % football has clearly not worked at home and I think unless PS wakes up and starts to get a bit more attacking then more and more fans are going to loose faith than the 27% that the current poll suggests. For me he is a decent manager who is out of ideas and I think its time for a change.

It is shocking to see that only Wimbledon, York, Accrington, Aldershot and Plymouth have won less than us at home.

Spot on in my opinion. Its pretty obvious to see that we spend most home games camped in our own 3rd. Sturrock fortunately worked this out quickly when we played Orient and changed it, so why has he persisted with this for a lot of the season? Its not like we dont have any strikers.

He also refuses to play Freddy who has the skill and quality to split open a defence.

In fairness we've played 4-4-2 pretty much all season with Britt and Tomlin up front. Quite why we didn't start with that system last night is beyond me but our approach has, in my eyes at least, actually been more positive this season.
