I'm new to all this Hattrick stuff...

Quite fancy a pop at it..

So how do I get involved?

Apologies for my ignorance on this subject.

Hattrick is down at the moment so you can't go in but once it's back up go to www.hattrick.org and sign up. Once you have a team read the rules then read them again and possibly a third time.

Thanks MrB..

So is there an SZ League I can join once all details have been submitted etc..

Bummer - no HT until at least 2100. Was looking forward to at least one training pop tonight. So much for these "new and improved" servers they have.

sorry to sound thick but...

I train playmaking... and my goalkeeper, who has only ever played in goal just popped at playmaking!

That shouldnt happen should it?

Yes, every training regime other than goalkeeping affects every player however players who don't play in the relevant position receive training at about 1/6th the normal rate so will get a pop every 3 or 4 seasons.

Some people use it as a way of making money, load your team with players who look like they're about to pop and sell them a few weeks later. I tried it last season with high solid wingers but the profits are no longer sufficient to cover agent fees and potential TS hits.

Talking of quick pops, my conversion to PM training worked well with these to popping in their first weeks:

Nico Rondou
TSI = 1 560 , 17 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and wretched leadership abilities

Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: excellent Passing: weak
Winger: inadequate Defending: poor
Scoring: inadequate Set pieces: poor

Robertus Dethier
TSI = 630 , 17 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and disastrous leadership abilities

Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: solid Passing: inadequate
Winger: wretched Defending: weak
Scoring: wretched Set pieces: wretched

£133k, will be a decent price if I can get quick passing and wing pops as well.

Kevin Weale (146706559)
19 years, passable form, healthy
A sympathetic guy who is calm and honest.
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities.

Speciality: Head

Nationality: England
Total Skill Index (TSI): 2 640
Wage: 627 £/week
Owner: Southend FC

Injuries: Healthy

Stamina: inadequate Goalkeeping: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: weak
Winger: solid Defending: solid
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: poor

What a shame about his age! Still, will bring some much needed money. Up for £33,333.

Not bad for me, should interest scoring trainers

Cabot Everett
