Matt Harrold - Useless for us, only scored 3 in 2 seasons. Has since gone on to play for Wycombe, Shrewsbury & currently Bristol Rovers. Has scored a total of 45 goals since leaving.

Gary Hooper - Usually 3rd choice behind Freddy & Foran (Unbelievably). Currently with Norwich in the Prem. Since leaving Blues has played for Leyton Orient (On Loan from Blues - scored 2), Hereford (On loan from Blues) scored 11 goals, Scunthorpe United, scored 43 goals, Celtic - scored 63 goals and played in the Champions League and obviously Norwich, scored 2 so far for them. Total of 119 goals since leaving Blues.

Ritchie Foran - 2nd choice striker in the Championship season (06/07). Only scored 1 for Blues. Joined Darlington on loan from Blues twice, scoring 3 goals on both occasions. Currently playing for Inverness in the SPL, scoring 38 goals for them since joining in 2009. A total of 44 goals since leaving us. Was recently arrested.

Charles Ademeno - Bit harsh to pick him, as he never scored a competitive goal for us. Hasn't exactly set the world on fire since leaving but hey, he's scoring. Was sent out on loan to no less than 5 conference clubs, including Bishop's Stortford (1 goal), Cambridge United (1 goal), Welling United (0 goals), Rushden & Diamonds (1 goal) & Salisbury City (Twice) - (Total of 6 goals over the 2 loan spells). Then left to sign for Crawley, scoring 11 goals for them. Then to Grimsby, scoring 2 for them. Was then sold to AFC Wimbledon - (1 goal), didn't last long there, moved to Eastbourne Borough - (2 goals). Then joined Salisbury again, permanently this time only scored 2. Now currently at Margate and is yet to score for them.
 
What an eclectic list.

Harrold might not have been prolific for us but he was far from useless even if many were too blinkered to see it.

Foran was played wide left rather than up front.

Ademeno's hardly scoring goals now. He hardly played for us either.

If you wanted players from that era who went onto score elsewhere along with the aforementioned Hooper you could have gone for Paynter and McDonald who both had prolific bursts.

It's hardly a surprise when youngsters still learning the game peak when they are older and more experienced.
