I just want to say-can we please stop "slagging off" our players. I know this has been mentioned a couple of times before but, although some players in the team are not consistently performing, moaning about it isn't going to change it. I don't want to start an arguement here, but support them, don't critisise.

In all fairness, isn't that the whole point of a message board though - to express and debate our opinions?

I don't see anything wrong with constructive criticism (pro and negative), and like the Hockley man says... they'd be little point in this message board with such things.

What gets to me is when players are showered with verbal abuse at games, and when they are hounded out of the club and not given a fair chance.

That, and when supporters have a favourite who they support with blinkered vision, and turn against any player who has the temerity to take his place.

People are entiltied to their own opinions and some people will never agree on anything but this is a message board and thats what its for, expressing opinions and constructively critising players.

Its better on here than at Roots Hall on when we play away. What I don't like is when people start making statements like "If I had a gun, I'd shot Maher". Fecking outrageous.

Isn't that is what football is all about opinions? Everyone has their own thoughts on who they like and who they think is rubbish. For example I always thought that Kevin Maher was a good player, others beg to differ. What doesnt alter and never will is my support for the club.If we didn't have opinions then football would consist of people saying everyones wonderful. Which would make for a very dull conversation during the pre match Kaliber Shandy.

pay you're money do what you want in theory. can i just say, get over it this goes on. fans have expectations. how can u cheer on a pile of **** everyweek there has to be a point where u give in which is the same with all fans they don't turn up first game of season and slag off their team.
