Anyone know how many tickets sold?... are we expecting a full house... have my cousin over from Canada so want him to see the roots packed and loud...

As mentioned on here earlier, ticket sales have been quite slow. Thats why Southend have given Stoke 2,000 tickets instead of 1,200 as it was clear we would not have enough demand from home fans.

That leaves only around 8,500 tickets available for home fans but we might not even sell all those (even though 6,500 already sold to season ticket holders).  Bit dissapointing especially as we have one of the cheapest ticket prices in the Championship.

my brother bought tickets the other day and said he was waiting on the ticket line for the best part of 30 mins...

do you think it will pick up this week? be good to see it packed like almost every game last season from january onwards...

Southend are hoping for a 10,000 average. But the only way to get that is by giving away fans 2,000 tickets which most clubs in this division will be able to sell.

So yes Roots Hall will be packed every game, helped by the larger away support.

Don't think so - a fair few people will be on holiday (myself included) for the first few games and won't be able to attend.

Should be an attendance of at least 8,000 considering we have 6,500 season ticket holders, though.

A crowd of around 8,500 I reckon.. still a good crowd

Our 5500 S/T Holders and around 1500 match day sells
plus about 1500 Stoke city supporters as they are have only sold 900 so far and cannot see then selling all 1100 in 4 days that are left ?

A while back the Official site did say that we have nearly 6,500 season ticket holders.

Likely a marketing tactic to make people buy ST otherwise they might not get tickets for games.

Not so sure a crowd of 8,500 is good crowd for us in this division, the club want to hit the 10,000 mark for every home game but they have not been promoting the Stoke game. It's hardly been mentioned on the official site & I haven't seen any posters around the town.

Maybe they should have made it a Family Fun day (If they will still have them this season).
