I was confused on that to this morning, looks as though scannel is gettin back to full fitness though.

Doesnt he just look like a player you would create on a football game like fifa! :D

He mentioned it another thread, which alerted me to the fact we'd played. I thought it worthy of its own thread.

I read nothing into the fact that Herd captained the side, other than that means he isn't in first team contention this season.

Ah, wondered if there had been some deleting going on or something! Just seemed a bit strange to me for Herd to be skip with the likes of Furlong in the side.

Not really. Your reserve team captain tends to be someone who will be with the reserves all season, not someone who is part of the first team squad like Furlong is.

You'd still expect Furlong to be passing on his experience, but he doesn't need to wear a bit of material on his sleeve in order to do that.

not exactly..........though you do have to take care in those mountains......
plenty of black holes and worse! It was sort of on another stratosphere.....

exactly a thread dedicated to the reserves........but someone sort of mentioned, competition for places......and I sort of brought up the info on reserve team scorers......I hope that explains everything!

I noticed this this morning. A brace from Scannell, one for Walker and one for Herd.

Be nice to see Scannell 100% fit again. Think he could be a big player for us this season.

and i'd imagine a way to get Herd to be more vocal with his senior colleagues - i think its a good idea so come the time he is in the 1st time it wont be so nerve wracking and the confidence and feeling he fits will be there straight away
