stick with the young guns -

Rayleigh boy

Director⭐
the really good news is that we have a fabulous collection of talented young
footballers ....

IT WAS NOT THEM THAT WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONCEDING TWO GOALS

was it ?

there are problems with the goalkeeper and problems with Clarke/Barrett/Francis for corners set pieces but

no problems with Herd, O Keefe, JFC, Grant, Moussa, Walker, Robinson, -

do we need more experienced players ? more experienced than Barrett ? more experienced than Clarke ? more than Fumbleball .... no better maybe -

so not sure why the get the old lags routine is so popular - its the old lags that keep screwing it up .... maybe we need better old lags -

as it looks to me the worse thing that happened on Tuesday was Walker getting injured -

can't win anything with kids ????

its the experienced players who are losing us the games - remember Clarke and Mildenfall against Chelsea.......

i would say play the youngsters for the rest of the season if we were in mid table.

problem is we are not and we are slipping fast. we need some experience in with a blend of youth to steady us.

we have loads of experience in key positions - Barrett Clarke Fumbleall -

even Francis over 100 games for SUFC - Barnard/freedman/furlong/Betsy/Macca ....

problems is they all either no good or knackered ..... the mix is there its the
experienced players screwing it up -

The average age of our team is youthfull enough for anyones taste, surely ?

It's a team game and they succeed or fail as a team. It is wrong IMO to
continually single out individuals for criticism, specially yuffs, as can
destroy confidence and inexperience makes that difficult to handle, or
bounce back from.

Positive metions are in order for good personal performances, within the unit.
