According to a Liverpool, Gerrard has just rejected a 100K a week contract and says he wants to leave - this is the same player who declared he wanted to stay at the club after their Euro Cup win. If this is true, how much does he want?

Was a weekly salary of £160k a week not mentioned to try & entice him to stay at Anfield?

That is comedy if that's true.

Agree 100% in that individual greed is killing top flight football. I also feel that if I was the Liverpool board & he does go to Chelsea then I would want the whole affair to be investigated fully as he's no doubt been groomed to go there. It would be great to see Chelsea get their 3 ponit deduction!
