State of South Upper

The South Upper stand provides a decent view and reasonable leg room. However it is in desperate need of some TLC.

* There is so much pigeon crap that the corridor at the back of the stand is slippery and frankly disgusting. The rest of the stand would benefit from a decent wash & wipe down. A lick of paint would make a heap of difference.

* Food / drinks - The option (when entering via Vic Ave) needs work, is there any news on FanZone yet?

* On the positive side there is hot water in the toilets

Just a thought for some of the technical people - could an exit be created from the upper level passed the ladies toilet & straight to the car park to avoid the congestion at the end of matches - a bit like the glass tunnel to enter the East?

I don't get this with the bird mess, it's obvious it's there, so it's obvious it needs cleaning. Maybe our "deterrent" isn't about at the moment.

What it actually needs is a separate entrance for the upper and lower to allow segregation

Yes eventually.
It's a poorly designed stand with like most of the ground restricted views.
If new North/East stands get built then in the long term maybe the South Stand can hopefully be looked at and also rebuilt.

But we are probably years away from even getting a new East Stand so it will probably never happen.
