Squad Strengthening In The Summer

Which positions and players do we think Tilly will go for over the summer. I dont think which league we are in will affect this too much as if we didnt go up we'd still need a stronger squad next year. I personally think we might go back for Darren Byfield and another centre back. Yes we signed Sodje but still released Eagle and Spinner is on his way out. If we did go up we'd need to strengthen in the full back department but our overall spine of the team IMO is of Championship quality (Flavs, Barrett, Sodje,Maher, Gutts, Freddy).

Whatever league we're in, we'll certainly need a centre forward, a full back or two, and perhaps a centre-half to cover for Barrett and Sodje. We look OK in midfield at the moment, if Bradbury continues with his excellent perfomances on the right wing then I can see him being offered a contract for next season so we should be OK in the midfield area.

i'd still love to see hayter at the hall. he is also out of contract with the cherries in the summer. the midfield as has beenpointed out is sorted, especially if we have to sign JCR. plus bradbury being able toplay midfield as well as he prefered striking role.

goalkeeper is a must, plus left back and centre back.

apart from the goat, no one must be allowed to leave! unless a better replacement is found for them!

A 'keeper. A decent one, who would be good enough to be first choice, even if he's not.

A left back. Left-footed, to be first choice. As much as Che's been in excellent form, I'd not want to rely on him in the Championship.

A centre back, possibly 2. I'd guess Efe & Adam may be first choice pairing, leaving only Spinner as back-up and, who knows, he may yet retire.

Can't see midfield needing any additions.

2 strikers. Goat retiring, Gray not good enough. Bradbury looks a better right midfielder than striker, so far. Byfield & Hayter would do for me.
