Very interesting graphic, we can see the gaps left by Atko and Thompson on ours, hopefully those brought in can integrate reasonably quickly.

As well as Bury decimating their squad, it's interesting to see that Pompey have lost their 3 biggest contributors (in terms of pitch time) from last season, and Fleetwood and Oxford have both lost 3 out of their top 5.

Also, if you scroll down to League Two, Port Vale who were lauded by many on here for "doing their business early" before last season, seemed to have made wholesale changes again. Let's see how that works out again this year...

Really interesting stat that, and bodes well for the season. As it says, the more successful sides tend to have less comings and goings.

Guessed Bury's would probably be the worst! Everyone is tipping them to do well given all the players they've signed, but it's never that easy. They will inevitably need some time to settle and gel. If that takes half a season then they might be too far out the mix at that point.

Nothing against Thompson, but would love to see us promoted to the Championship whilst Bury stay down. Maybe he'd realise the new chapter wasn't as good as the previous.

The most interesting stat on there is that Swindon didn't field a single player older than 26 last season!

We were the third oldest team behind Northampton and Wimbledon.

I see that 5 of the biggest churners in the top 9 include Wigan, Blackburn, Bradford, Peterborough and Northampton. Surely they will all do carp then ?

I would expect to see more churning/making butter when teams are relegated or promoted and this would seem to apply to Wigan and Blackburn - but they should perhaps still have a number of "Championship quality" players to call upon in their bid for promotion.

Surprised to see Bradford there - lost in the play-off final so I would have thought that keeping the nucleus of the side and adding a few more would have been the aim.
