Apologies if this is on another thread, however the Spread has organised a raffle in aid of "Strokebusters" with the prize of a signed Freddy Eastwood picture.

Only a £1 for 5 tickets - a worthwhile prize for a worthwhile charity. Make sure you get yourself a ticket next time you are in there...

On another note, it was good to see so many Shrimperzoner's in the Spread yesterday, including (in no particular order), Trueblue, Vange Shrimper, Rayleigh Weir, Yorkshire Shrimper and Mr Bennedict.

Good to see you all - wish the result would have been better...

You know something, I might just pop down there tomorrow evening, probably the first time in about 4 years without the express intent of playing darts in there.

I took someone to the Vitesse game for her 'first time' and she's got well into it already. Seeing as the pub is part of the Southend supporter culture (and seeing as she's already been to the Shrimpers Bar) it seems an eminently suitable place to go pre-match.
