Live long and prosper up there mate, one of my TV and cinema heroes.
 
RIP to a proper cult hero, Star Trek was never the same, or anywhere as good, without him in.
 
Surely he will return after his essence is carried in another person's mind and then replanted in a younger version of himself.

A talented director as well as a good actor.

He directed Star Trek IV which was IMO the best of the original cast films.
 
You silly people of course he is not dead. When that first manned mission goes to Mars they will find him in child form due to Genesis
