Hammell has been a class signing.[b said:Quote[/b] (Shrimper2thecore @ Oct. 14 2006,13:20)]What the hell is wrong with you!![b said:Quote[/b] (blue heaven @ Oct. 14 2006,13:17)]dloman what game were you watching Hammell is the worst left back I have seen at the hall for many years, cant tackle and gets walked over every game.As for Spinner had a okay game until he gave away the penalty.
Hammell is the best left back we have had at the hall in years, do you really think any of the left back we have had in the last 6/7 years are anywhere near as good a he is!!
Him and Francis both get forward so well to support our attacking play, they do more attacking than mopst of the midfield!!
Hammell is constantly breaking up the play and offering an easy pass!!
Superb player
Ahem, do you really think any of the recent left backs would have coped in the championship?[b said:Quote[/b] (blue heaven @ Oct. 14 2006,13:17)]dloman what game were you watching Hammell is the worst left back I have seen at the hall for many years, cant tackle and gets walked over every game.As for Spinner had a okay game until he gave away the penalty.
I think you'll find that Nic Nic was the worst left back we have seen at the hall in recent years[b said:Quote[/b] (blue heaven @ Oct. 14 2006,13:17)]dloman what game were you watching Hammell is the worst left back I have seen at the hall for many years, cant tackle and gets walked over every game.As for Spinner had a okay game until he gave away the penalty.
Not really. Hammell's only one of four defenders and offhand, I can't remember any of the goals coming down his side other than maybe Cardiff's third.[b said:Quote[/b] (blue heaven @ Oct. 14 2006,18:08)]Thank you point made.
I think every team in the country would tend to concede more goals without a goalie.[b said:Quote[/b] (adam barratt is the best @ Oct. 14 2006,17:16)]9 goals in 3 games and it could have been a lot more with out the goalie thats not very good
Great[b said:Quote[/b] (Groyne Strain @ Oct. 15 2006,00:53)]I think every team in the country would tend to concede more goals without a goalie.[b said:Quote[/b] (adam barratt is the best @ Oct. 14 2006,17:16)]9 goals in 3 games and it could have been a lot more with out the goalie thats not very good
Except England.
Totally agree![b said:Quote[/b] (shrimpereeee @ Oct. 15 2006,00:47)]For what it's worth I am really disappointed with the defending abilities of both Hammell and Francis.
I am sure that they have potential but the fact is they both struggle everytime someone runs at them. Francis may be good going forward but their number one responsibility is to defend....and too often this season I've seen them outplayed. Their performances at QPR rank as the worst fullback performances from Southend players in recent times.
I would like to see Che given a try at left back. He may not be up to it but we won't find out unless he is given a go. I would also like to see Hunt at right back with JCR/Bradbury (when fit) in front of him. Thi should strengthen the defence.
