Spectator in the east stand

As a steward I usually do the carpark before the game. At the Ipswich friendly and yesterday there was a supporter who on the way in was talking loudly to himself about the downfall of SUFC, and on the way out was talking about Tilly not being the right manager etc etc etc. For the Ipswich game it was a rant about Southend Mannor on the way in and about how crap SUFC when he left.
Does this supporter carry on like this the whole game, or is it just a car park thing

Oh yes talking to himself and not very quietly, Its bad enough getting some pompus ***** not parking where we ask them to, and having to put up with some idiots in the flats behind the carpark, but now we have mentally unstable supporters to deal with

Nice. So one of 'our ' stewards has taken it on himself to insult fans of SUFC three times in one paragraph. I would suggest that he should have a look at some of his own colleagues if he wants to see 'pompus *****' and 'idiots'.

3 times in one paragraph. No 2 actually, the idiots in the flats like to shout insults at supporters after the game so they do not count as fans. As for the drivers who park in the car park I stand by my point for a minority of them as, when we ask nicely if somebody could park their car in a certain spot we get told to p**s off. We are there to do a job, to get cars parked safely and within the parking areas to ensure everybody gets a parking space.
So yes those car drivers who are rude to the stewards are pompus prats. And next time you want to park your car in the carpark and you can't because there is no more room as some people have double parked please don't come running to us. Also as you are a SUFC fan our stewards have little to do with you. Some of us do the turnstiles, then we go in the North Bank where we get assulted and sworn at by the away supporters. The stewards in the home end are those supplied directly by the club, where we are supplied by an agency. So your problem would be with the Southend Stewards who most are far to busy stuck up their own a**e to help any of us lot when it kicks off.
Also the majority of the Southend stewards have doorman licences while none of us have, and yet we have to stop the pitch invasions and get the insults. And for your information one of our stewards got punche din the face trying to stop away supporters get on the pitch.

Lighten up mate. Everyone in their own job has someone to moan about and its usually just the minority, in this case a couple of idiot fans.

He always turns up in the little programme selling shed window already talking about some really obscure off topic problem then after nodding and listening to some ramblings for a few minutes, he'll actually buy a programme and sod off.. wouldn't be the same without it :)

I must admit though, he does have some decent ideas...
