Barrett is behind Matsuzaka in the pecking order then, what does that make him? 6th choice?

Good to see Matsuzaka involved with the squad but why have we two centre-halves on the bench? Seems strange.

Are Bridge and Kyprianou injured?

I know Kyprianou was a doubt, but don't think Bridge is.

Suppose PB would argue Matsuzaka/Sokolik would come on and Timlin could push into midfield.

When you fall out with pb that what happens ,john white had problem with brown .but he seems to have got back in squad

I think Barrett might want to announce his retirement in January. A season too long.

I hope he doesn't sign off in January (unless he is on a hefty wage of course).

If we end up in a similar position like the end of last season with say 5 odd games to go, knowing we cant make the play off's or be relegated either. We may as well give him some pitch time and a final farewell, as well as sending some of the "core" defensive players of the team that we intend to keep, a couple of extra weeks off for some R&R.

Not to mention any injuries we might pick up between January and April 30th, I would rather have him AB as an option as apose to no option at all, especially knowing how we normally operate (or lack of) in the transfer window.
