A very differing point of view to most ive read on here Joe, but one that i agree with. We did have chances and we did fade badly at the end to compound people's perspectives of the game. We had 6 mins was it of extra time for 1st half injuries, but that didnt include their no11 that rolled around like he'd been shot and wasted 5mins before entering back into play.
They broke up our play with diving at every opportunity after they got the 1st goal. We missed glorious chances to get a goal back, just frustrating everybody in the stands.
Ive seen worse Southend teams than this. Players not trying and no shots the whole game, seen quite a few of those. Yeah we got problems all over the pitch, Kev spoke about getting the basics right last week and we give away two back post headers. There's no accounting for that, its just ****.
