Just got home from game. Not our best display but we ground out the victory. Barnet started well but faded.
A lot of mediocre displays give everyone 7 except Moshni 8, Barker 9, (MOTM), Ferdinand looks a good solid prospect8.
Lets see the success continue, I am sure our support was bigger than theirs!!

Was for the most part quite a bitty game with both sides struggling to get the ball down and play. First 20 mins McLeod was causing coughlan a lot of problems and with a better final ball or finish could have easily gone 1 up and would've deserved it. After weathering the initial storm grant and hall were making great runs from deep and Easton laid one of to Mohsni who played a perfect ball through to grant who tucked it away. From then on, Barnet caused no problems and mohsni's second half performance was commanding to say the least. Won every header he went for, and that's not an exaggeration.
Whether it was the right decision to start with Bilel up front I don't know as the balance for me didn't seem right, but he got the assist for grant so did his job.
Ratings:
Evans 7: made a good early save but I wasn't a fan of his time wasting after 50mins
Clohessy 7: dealt with the winger well on the most part
Barker 8: very assured and read the game very well
Coughlan 6: got done by McLeod 3 times in first 10 mins but recovered well until his injury which looked like a pulled hamstring
Gilbert 8: best game I've seen him play in blues shirt
Hall 8: still clearly high on confidence, had a goal disallowed which he took well and made the second goal for core
Easton 8: works very well with Ferdinand in midfield with grant running on ahead
Ferdinand 8: impressive again. Very mature for his age. Calm and reads play well
Grant 8: took goal well but cud've tucked an identical chance away 5 mins before
Sturrock 7: not his best game and fell away second half

We want 4 stands!
Good result again, but we still haven't really got anything in the wide areas and play long as a result. Can Sturrock work any wonders in the next 48 hours? We're a solid unit though. Moshni did win every header up front, but no one played off him - either do this (maybe 4-3-3) or stick him at centre half. The crowd might love him hacking clearances, but I'll bet his team mates don't.

Missed all of the first half pretty much, gutted to miss grants goal but a great win all the same. Wasn't a totally convincing win by any means but it was that, a win. Barnet looked terrible in the second half. 7s all round but give mohsni a 9, as others have said he was immense at the back. Wins absolutely everything and most of the time clears it a mile, he is a class player and if we lose him it will be huge. Blues fans 11, absolutely outsanding atmosphere, didnt stop singing.

Coughlan 6 - Did well and looked solid with anything in there air, came off just before half time injured
Barker 8- Played really well, holds on to the ball when not under pressure. Anything in the air he mops up and positioning today was sound, had a very good game.
Gibert 7.5 - Best game ive seen him play of late. Playing the ball down the channels rather than aimless hoof ball (even though there was a couple) Solid defensively
Ferdinand 8 - Goes about his business, and does a great job. Read the game well, lost count of the number of passes he intercepted. Broke the play up well and passed it about
Grant 8 - Battled brilliantly, made Barnet work. Took his goal well, and could have had another
Easton 7 - Looked comfortable on the ball bringing others into the play. Bossed it.
Hall 8- Not sure what happened with his disallowed goal? good finish either way. Getting better with every game, looked dangerous. His dead ball deliveries are very good.
Mohsni 8 - Proved his versatility today. Although not having a great game up front, set up grants goal with a decent flick. Was solid when he went back.
Sturrock 6.5 - Not his best game but worked his socks off as usual.
sawyer 6 - Looked good on the ball, still a bit off the pace.
Corr 8 - Won everything in the air when he came on, took his goal well
