The bookmakers will often price players up even if they are highly unlikely to start; any bets placed on such players will be voided anyway, but better to make them available just in case.

No, but you could say that about any bet. They're still pricing Barney way above what his price should be. Looking at the stats he should be something like 3/1

Sometimes get great odds on first goal scorer....againts Franchise got 28-1 Barrett and can often get 25-1 to 33-1 on the Mousse.........can then place over phone and claim a match bet(phone only) upto £25 or in the ground on night.....not always better but because they do betting in ground sometimes do special prices.
