After the sickening last minute equaliser we conceded at Sutton last Saturday, the players have had a week to reflect on two dropped points and to prepare for the visit of Solihull Moors.

With Tuesday night’s results going our way again there is still all to play for and winning our three remaining home games (Solihull, Braintree, Wealdstone) along with the away game at Ebbsfleet should probably give us enough points on the board without having to worry about the final game at Gateshead.

First up then is the visit of Matt Taylor’s Moors. They’ve not been in great form since he joined them from Wealdstone at the end of January - in fact over the last 10 games they’re bottom of the form table (interesting that we still have to play the bottom 3 in this form table). Their only win since mid-January was at home to Ebbsfleet.

Our starting XI last Saturday looked pretty decent, but once again wastefulness in the final third (combined with some good goalkeeping) saw us fail to register anything but a single goal and our inability to get a more commanding lead eventually resulted in dropping 2 points at the death.

The subs were largely disappointing too and none of them seemed to do enough to dislodge the starting XI - that’s my opinion anyway, but who do you think should start in our pre-penultimate home game of the season and what do you predict the result will be?

It would be really nice for Parillon to break his duck. Be great to have him in goal scoring form going into this final stretch.

It would also be great for Bonne to notch one as well but he just seems like his game is providing great opportunities. He puts some great crosses in. Oh for an Ollie Pearce to be on the end of them!

Bonne is looking a lot less effective since Kendall’s injury. Really think we’re missing the ability to rotate up front and keep him fresh (or is it Kendall’s ability to tire out defenders?). Playing him for 90 minutes isn’t doing him any favours IMO.

FWIW he hasn’t scored a second half goal this season.

He was very effective verses Sutton, but he’s playing pretty much as a right winger. Which makes him less effective as a CF naturally. Seems happy to do it. (For the good of the team). Put some fantastic balls into the box but we lack players with the ability to get on the end of them (as we know). I note however he remains at or near the top of virtually every posters ratings. Which must mean something.

I think in part because with Gus as RB he gets forward way less and hence we need a wide rate attacking threat more…

think there wont be much change in the team or formation ,maybe on the bench you will see Collin and our new super star signing in Evan .
