Port Vale are a very good team and have been scoring for fun with Pope leading the way but we shut them out today and Pope didn't get a sniff.

The best 0-0 draw I have seen at the Hall for many years; a very good team performance with an outstanding gk display by the vale keeper. With a bit of luck it could have ended as 5-3; Vale looked a good team too. We seem to have options in all positions and all the players worked their butts off. If we play like that more often we will move up the league and more supporters will come through the turnstiles.
