Not at all ....... football is about being able to play many different styles and approaches ...... just look at Cambridge a few years ago .......... what if Southend did put out a side with 6 midfielders?

JPK and the lamented/departed Sawyer add to the Mighty Blues midfield. With the problems at the back maybe we could out "spam" spain and play just 3 at the back and 7 in midfield.
