I understand the scepticism above. After all - the lad is only under contract to Liverpool Football Club.
I do not understand why PB isn't trying to establish closer contact with clubs like Leatherhead, Loughborough, Little League FC, Low in the Pyramid AFC ..for players they will make available??

There is none so blind as thoes who cant see .If the lad has potential but Liverpool lets him go because of the wealth of players they have on there books .It gives the lad a chance he is a center back which we are struggling .Why dont you lot give Phil brown a brake .He has got lenny to put pen to paper on a long contract .Also he has kept Hurst for another two years so he is try to build for our future .I cant rember our last manager doing this hr let our best player slip away .

I WIll respect this signing if it happens, However, We do need a forward with pace desperately. I know they are hard to come by but then we have Njie and Williams to hand chances to.

Interesting to see in today's Echo Brown saying he wants Jakub on a permanent basis. Also the story says Bolger's injury is not as bad as first feared and he could come back to us. Unfortunately neither of these are likely to happen before tonight's game.

Well I wish it would be sorted before tonight, because our defence is only the second best in the league, so there are CLEARLY problems at centre half that need fixing very quickly. It's a well known fact that Mark Phillips can't do 100m in 10 secs and as such needs pensioning off to Canvey (never mind the face that positionally he's as good as anyone). Equally at Morecambe, Egan didn't look like he could hold his own at this level because there was at least 1 ball he didn't win. I'd say we need defenders and should ignore the fact that our system / team selection doesn't lead to chances being created for the forwards.
