...almost as telling is Walker's break down the left before cantering into the box and snatching at a near post shot going wide despite the keeper's touch.Got to say that every time I see that Walker chance in the 1st half it gets worse. FFS!!
Struggling to defend set pieces again. They should of scored that free header right at the death. More evidence that 11 men between the penalty spot and goal line hinders not helps.
I hate the way we send everyone back for corners, it allows the opposition to put everyone forward - also means there are far more bodies in the area and doesn't give us an outlet when it does get clearer!Struggling to defend set pieces again. I agree with you although other teams do the same. It means 10 v 10 outfield players in the final third. However if we leave one on the halfway line the opposition will have two markers leaving it 9 v 8 in our favour plus the advantage of having an outlet if we clear the ball.I hate the way we send everyone back for corners, it allows the opposition to put everyone forward - also means there are far more bodies in the area and doesn't give us an outlet when it does get clearer!

Sturrock was questioned on this as he did the same.I hate the way we send everyone back for corners, it allows the opposition to put everyone forward - also means there are far more bodies in the area and doesn't give us an outlet when it does get clearer!
Watched this last night. Love how he slammed Walker for his miss, think he called him rubbish or something but then when their big lad hit the post from six yards out he was unluckyFrom an Aldershot fan. One of the best and most entertaining away supporters video so far. Fantastic ground, lovely boozer, brilliant Southend fans. His mate predicts 2-1 to Southend before the game, Lol.
That Walker miss, WOW. He didn't look offside. Really enjoyable this. Worth the 9 minute watch.
