Not a big Rugby fan but have to congratulate them on a good season finishing 5th. My other half was over at Warners Bridge today where they stopped some team winning the league and pushed them down to second.

If the new stadium at Fossests Farm goes ahead could we see Southend United Football Club and Southend Rugby club ground sharing???
 
Interesting idea done the trick for Wigan and Reading. The last time I watched Southend Rugby there was only about 100 people there though.(only seen 2 games so not an expert).
 
According to yesterdays echo they had 700 there Saturday which is good considering we were at home being watched by 11,000. When we play at home to crowds a lot less than that Canvey can't make 700 so a good effort.
