Hi all,
The second trial week of the Southend Fantasy League is planned for Saturday 25th April 2009. If you want to enter simply read these rules and then post your team below. The scores should be up on Saturday night hopefully.
Rules
All teams must be submitted by midday on Saturday 25th April, any teams that have been posted or edited after that time won't be counted.
The formation must be 4-4-2.
All players must be in their correct positions. (e.g. a striker can't be put into a team as a midfielder, all players will be checked to make sure they are in the right positions)
Each team must have 11 players and 5 subs (subs score half points)
The following rules will only apply for trial weeks
The team must have 9 Southend players and all 5 subs must be Southend players.
Scoring
In the squad: 1 point
Start: 3
Substitute appearance: 2
Goal: 8
Assist: 5
Yellow card: -2
Red card: -5
Defence goals conceded: -1
Defence clean sheet: 5
Team loss: -5
Team draw: 1
Team win: 5
Players are available from the following teams
No Leceister or Scunthorpe players as they are playing on the Friday night so the players that you can choose must be from the teams below:
Cheltenham, Carlisle, Colchester, Peterborough, Hartlepool, Leeds, Huddersfield, Brighton, Millwall, Leyton Orient, MK Dons, Walsall, Northampton, Hereford, Oldham, Southend, Stockport, Crewe, Swindon, Bristol Rovers, Tranmere, Yeovil
Next season
Next season we will hopefully have a full version of the Southend Fantasy League up and running. The rules will be the same as the above but with a few changes. Each week your points will be added up on a table, a bit like the Prediction League, and each week the winner will win green rep and there may be some other prize for the overall winner. Every few weeks a list of 10 players will be posted up and you can choose 2 to "sign" and add to "your squad". A list of the players each competitor has in "their squad" will be kept. Each squad can contain every Southend player and every few weeks the following 2 that you "sign".
Might be a good idea to wait until Sunday, Monday in case a player gets injured this weekend.
Thanks and enjoy
