If you wish to take part in the Southend Fantasy League then post your squads up here. With 3 weeks left some people might want to submit squads now and you can make 2 changes between now and the first game of the season but you may want to submit teams later as there may be players signing, leaving or getting injured.
Here are the rules and scoring to help you choose:
Rules
All teams must be submitted by midday of the Saturday, any teams that have been posted or edited after that time won't be counted.
The formation must be 4-4-2.
All players must be in their correct positions. (e.g. a striker can't be put into a team as a midfielder, all players will be checked to make sure they are in the right positions)
Each team must have 11 players and 5 subs (subs score half points)
The following rules will only apply for trial weeks
The team must have at least 15 out of the 18 in the squad must be Southend players for the first few weeks.
Scoring
In the squad: 1 point
Start: 3
Substitute appearance: 2
Goal: 8
Assist: 5
Yellow card: -2
Red card: -5
Defence goals conceded: -1
Defence clean sheet: 5
Team loss: -5
Team draw: 1
Team win: 5
All you have to do now is submit the 3 players you wish to be in your squad for the first week, you will have the whole Southend squad + these 3 players to choose from each week. Every few weeks this thread will be updated and you can choose another few players to sign for your "squad".
