South Upper Drum...

So tonight I played the drum, with my bare hands, in the South Upper Yellow seats.

It started off quite well as I forced the beat to the atmospheric chants working there way around the stadium. I started a few chants in the second half. Renditions of both "Sea Sea Seasiders" and "The Great Escape". Good fun.

Then the bad and embarassing part... My friends tried to start "Sea Sea Seasiders" and failed. I told them, and I quote, "Oh Come On, at least do it well". In an effort to emphasise my point I shouted out Sea Sea Seasiders and...

Guess what happens next...

No-one joins in, they turn around and jeer at me singing "On Your Own" and laughing histerically. Then to add insult to injury, they started singing it.
