Does Soares not apperance on the bench make anyone else think that we might possibly have seen the last of him?

I was delighted when we signed him as I felt he would be a good experienced player at this level but I feel he has done nothing at all and his days are numbered.

I am guessing Sturrock told him the bad news and maybe thats it as far as Soares is concerned.

I can't believe Soares never won Player of the Year!

If you go back through some of the early game threads, people were very enthusiastic about Soares and thought Hall was poor!

Crazy to think he scored ten at this level last season.

Seem to remember posts earlier in the season with links to the Aldershot forum, they were not sad to see the back of him IIRC

The fact is, he could probably go off somewhere else and do a reasonable job, he just hasn't fitted in to this set-up.

Soares has a decent delivery and that's about it. I saw him play well at Barnet in the JPT and he scored one of the goals of the season.

But that's not enough to keep him - he needs to do that regularly and he just doesn't.
