so if it did, then doesnt this mean that we are now commited to start building the new stadium as sainsbury's are now going to want to get into roots hall asap, as they have parted with the cash!! what do u guys think?

Don't ask us, we have no idea of the facts. Ask Ron.

There's supposed to be a "fuller statement" coming out this week from the club. Not sure that it's actually going to tell us anything interesting though.

There has been lots of speculation on here for the last week as to where the cash may be coming from but we actually have no idea about what was agreed. The only people that know are most likely Ron and the board.

the OS reads the it was one of Ron's "group companies" that paid the bill. So unless he has made a massive investment in Sainsbury's I would say not. again though as everyone above I am not saying that is a cast iron no.

The deal with Sainsburys is with Ron's group of companies, not SUFC, so Sainsbury's would have paid them rather than directly so we can't draw any conclusions from that.

The question remains: What are the terms of this Loan from Ron's Group of Companies? Is it wriiten off just like the rent due to SEL from the club or is it a temporary loan until Sainsbury's money comes in and then needs repaying to Ron's group of Companies?

I refer my learned friend to the answer I gave earlier.
