Slightly Dodgy Macron Email

Sorry if this is the wrong forum but has anyone else had one of these this morning? I have nothing to do with Worcester Warriors in any way, but noticed it had come from their Macron Store. Macron would have my details because I have bought from our club shop and I suspect someone is testing the new store for the Warriors but being an idiot and using live data.
I have called the club but they are apparently having a press conference at the moment (probably about restarting next season), so I'm hoping someone will call back. Thought I would post this here in case anyone else got one

I'm reliably informed by a steward who heard it from a mate whos next door neighbour goes to the same tennis club as someone from within the club. Apparently we will be ground sharing next season with a newly formed COSU venture called Southend Segulls who are going to head straight into National League 2 and this must be Macron showing the club the workings of how emailing for the new brand would be but its been sent out by mistake...

On a more serious note, Not received anything (but have bought from the shop online in the past) If you go to away games we have to sign up to purchase tickets so it could be from that if another club also uses Macron.

Either way seems like Macron is testing some mailing etc and using live data rather than test emails. Seems like a GDPR breach to me (emails are personably identifiable data). Fine them €10m / €20m or to 2% / 4% of global turnover (Depending if its an Upper Tier 1 or Lower Tier 2)

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's a GDPR breach too, and depending on what Warriors come back and say, I will take it up with Macron at some point. I work in the IT / data sector within social housing so you have to be on your toes when testing new stuff.

So, not only are they using personal data, but they can't make up their minds on the colour....might be worth reporting to the club that our kit supplier's IT dept isn't entirely up to scratch.....

Is it any surprise, when their sizes are all over the place and wrong, also the stock issues, and it took someone 2 months to get a refund, and then another on here nearly 4 months.

I haven't heard anything back from the Warriors, but yesterday seems to have been a big day for them so I'll give it a bit more time.

Club thank you all for bringing this to their attention and have contacted Macron to make them aware.
