Interesting as they are suggesting we are more likely to be relegated than win the League

well, with 2 teams getting relegated and only one being champions that would be right from an odds perspective.. From a form point of view, obviously our track record and odds show top half and top 7 is the most likely outcome..

Yep good point, realised that after id posted !
Looks like they are thinking we will do the same as every season. Up and around or in the Play offs.

Actually if were were deemed to be exactly middling in the table then logically the odds of us getting relegated should be half those of us winning the league, because there are twice as many relegation spots as there are winning the league spots. So at 18/1 for the league you'd expect 9/1 for relegation. The fact we're 14/1 for relegation suggests they think we're going to be more than just also-rans.

Not really. There are only three teams offered at 33-1 for relegation and beyond that the odds are much of a muchness. Odds for the unlikely, which Blues going down is, should be attractive which they are not. Running a book is a skill but the bookies will be paying more out on league winners/ promotion sides than they will relegation and would do better to make themselves a few extra shillings by offering better propositions on certain teams.
