10.40AM League Two Preview

Oxford United are away at league two leaders CRAWLEY

Happy days the mighty Shrimpers slip under the radar again.

Typical! Still, let Crawley take all the attention and buckle under the pressure and we can go quietly about our business.

The media would give anything for creepy crawly to gain back to back promotions as champions so they can swam all over them and their exuberant irritating manager and rant about their latest success story. We at Southend must seem so boring in comparison to them, I mean where's the story in a quiet unassuming nice guy going to a club on the brink of extinction, with no money or players, using his experience and guile in calling in old pros and exciting youngsters and taking them to the top of the league in two seasons. No contest really.

Sorry, but I'm not a fan of Sky  - I'm sick of my work colleagues being able to talk authoritively (apparently) about the weaknesses of the Exeter team, the flair of the Swansea side and the plight of Plymouth ......... without ever going anywhere near a football ground - simply through sitting on their arses infront of the TV.

It's even worse when the cricket is on ..................

Sky are ******s lets be honest .. they have Creepy as 10/11 for the L2 title with us a distant 9/2, hardly odds that reflect the table but as mentioned elsewhere **** 'em, we'll just go about our business and let fat **** Evans have the limelight for now

The BBC are the same, hardly a mention of our run this season by Claridge and Manish in the Footbal League show.
No mention of Paul Sturrock or the great support at Dagenham.
It was always that way I guess, we are not a fasionable club, and never have been.
Stelling on Sky sounds as though he is about to vomit whenever he mentions that we are winning, bless.

$ky is useless .. Watched SSN last night and they mixed up all the goal scorers for our game,
plus the goals were all in different order as they went in!!!
Very lazy editing and so amateurish.. ******* hate $ky !!

Kane's winner was scored in daylight whilst the first was under a floodlit pitch. Very poor!

I suppose they can't mention our run every week though, if we were putting a run together lower down , like Barnet, we would be equally miffed if all they spoke about was the top 2
