Sky Masters football

Farmer Fossett

Youth Team⭐
Just been watching the Masters football tournament on Sky. Two former blues Player / Managers were playing in Mick Gooding for Wolves (who won) and Rob Newman for Bristol City. Standard of football quite good considering most players are 40+.

Apparently there are Regional heats with the winners playing in Birmingham NIA.

Does anyone know if we have a Masters team? The reason I ask is that Tranmere had a team in the finals so assume that it is open to all league clubs.

We dont unfortunately. We certainly could put a decent team together but im sure most players who do play on there and have SUFC connections wouldn't leave their current set-up!

I see Dean Austen playing for spurs a few days ago, i think Kev is right, we could put a good side together but the players would go for the bigger sides i fear

Ive been trying to get southend in the sky masters for 2 years know ive been speaking to them to get a side in it. A couple of months back a gave them a great idea which they liked but cant find a venue for it.It was a east anglia event southend, ipswich, norwich and the colchester they are quite keen on the idea,i will still keep pushering them to let us get in it. I do my son james staines memorial football match with a number of ex ledgens ive got a great load of contacts ive spoke to some of them players and they were keen to,so i will keep pressing for this.It would be a great feet for us and james if we get southend in sky masters.
