Sir Slipperduke

As soon as it comes out I'll stick something on my works Intranet for a bit more free bit of publicity: Hope I get my copy signed Iain!

Sir Slip is in a slightly different position to the normal 'zoner as well. We get the benefit of all the columns he writes for The New Paper in Singapore free, gratis and for nothing in his column on the All Leagues Forum, and plugging his book is the least he deserves.

i only said that as a joke! i definitely support advertising slippers book, i've just finished it and it's a brilliant read. however, as i said at the time, i thought the owners stance on posters advertising shirts on ebay was a bit harsh. however i appreciate this probably isn't the tread to open that can of worms! buy slippers book!

I need a new book having just finished the six wives of henry the VIII and the wasp factory for the umpteenth time.

This'll do nicely!

Thanks for all the help and support guys, I really appreciate it. I was in the BBC yesterday doing hours of interviews about it, and there's a chance that I'll be on Talksport in September as well. Sales are looking sturdy, so it's all good so far.

Thanks again for all the kind words, I'm glad you've enjoyed reading it!

my copy arrived yesterday, so they couldn't have been out of stock for too long!

Enjoying reading it, have just finished Nigel Spackman's chapter.

Well done Iain, are there any other projects in the pipeline?

Mine arrived on Friday. Desperately trying to save it for my holiday next Sunday, but I do keep dipping in and reading the odd page.

Top read so far Slip, well done mate. Hope you sell loads, you certainly deserve to.
