I'd have thought will Cole and Smith leaving, Tilly must have some deals tied up. Let's just pray they're not more journeymen like Paytner/Harrold.
 
I've heard a little rumour that Richie Foran is on his way to Barnsley. That would obviously rule out him signing for us and could possibly heighten the chance of Hayes ending up here, which to be honest I think he will anyway.
 
We need to sign some players desperately. I cant beleive that we have had 28 days so far and not a single signing. Ok we signed mccormack , but that was always going to happen. Come on ron splash the cash and give us a better chance of staying up. We must have made atleast 6-700k from cup games that would not have been budgeted for. We have also had 3-4 games on sky which must have netted atleast 250k we now also now our future is secure with the new ground. Time to up the anti.
 
I can only assume that with the departure of Jay Smith and Coley we are trying to free up wages for a new player or two.

At this stage I would be happy with a loan signing or two from ****nal, Chelsea etc etc. I really think the squad is dangerously low in numbers.:(
 
I think with Smith and Cole both going out and with the size of our current squad I'd be absolutely astonished if we end up with no one new on the books come midnight Wednesday.
