Personally speaking I guess my model falls into a bit of a black hole between focussing on weddings etc and the club scene, but to be honest that's kind of where I am really. The weddings and birthdays are good fun, are a nice bit of extra income, and im not bad at them, but it's the club side where I want to be heading. Maybe I need two separate websites!

You should defo have 2 websites. Someone looking to book you for a wedding isn't really looking for a club dj and you might find your conversion rate from unique page views is nowhere near the enquiries and bookings you then recive.

Equally, 'clubs' won't really be looking for mobile djs.

Looks really good Dave. Just thinking through some of the questions and issues we had for our wedding, it'd be useful to know if you have PA facilities for weddings, like a mic for speeches. Also if you can accommodate requests prior to the day. We emailed our DJ a long list of songs we wanted, and he was really good at accommodating them.

It looks like you have had lots of recent business, maybe it's worth getting some up-to-date testimonials for your comments bit. Our photographer emailed us a couple of months after our wedding to ask for a testimonial and if he could use some of our photos on his website.

Definitely two websites. That's the obvious bit. Can't tell you much about wedding DJ market, but was involved behind the scenes in a group looking to buy a couple of clubs. I wouldn't look at a wedding DJ - from a club perspective, I want someone reliable who is going to bring a regular following of a certain demographic. Use Facebook and BBM to build profile and integrate this in the site where possible...
