ShrimperZone FC "Open" Training

The General

The Mouse (*)
For the next 2 Sundays (19th & 26th) ShrimperZone FC will be training at Victory Sports Ground, Southend, from 10am. The club currently has 3 mens teams in the Southend Sceptre League and for the first season ever, a SZFC Ladies side will be entering the Essex Womans League, and they will also be training over at Victory. The club mainly consists of Southend United supporters - so it should be ideal for everyone on here.

Contact myself or Emu for more details!

Cheers

Kev

NB: Southend United are also soon to have an open training session in a bid to sign some players... details to follow!

If I was guaranteed to be in Southend for the next 9/10 months, then I'd definitely come along...

I'd imagine that even those who don't know what their commitments are for the whole of the season can still come along to the open trainings, even if it's just to get some fitness and play some football and see how things go....

Even me? Could do with boosting my fitness!

Nice turnout from everyone concerned today. Think there was at least 35 guys training and around 10 girls. Obviously this needs to improve on BOTH sides, men and woman, but with holidays and what not, it was always expected.

Next Sunday - the same kind of thing is planned and of course anymore new faces are more than welcome to come along as i had a couple of messages from people saying that they couldn't make today but will be about next weekend.

Pulled my adductor muscle (groin strain) a week or so ago. Pretty painful, but would like to get some training in once sorted. With Andee now in charge of the II's I may even try to get signed up.
