Shrimpers look alike thread

In the recent lookalike thread, Artful Shrimper posted details of the Frosties ad featuring the lad who look like a young Freddy Eastwood.

One of my lads has informed me that the boy in question has recently committed suicide after he was bullied and teased about the ad to such a degree that he could obviously take it no more.

This is NOT a joke post.

Does anyone know if this is actually correct? I haven't heard anything personally but both my lads say it is true and they certainly believe what they have heard.

If so, I'm amazed the ad is still being shown.

Good old Wikipedia confirm this is an urban myth. Huzzah!

There was an article on the kelloggs website a few weeks ago to say this was just a rumour i think.
