Shrimpers in the home end

I think now is about the time that we all come out of our shell and even those that were hiding very well admit that they couldn't get a ticket in the away end and they were Shrimpers in the scum

I'd forgotten they play away in yellow too, so all the yellow shirts I was spotting everywhere were not necessarily ours!

Me and elvis were, told we were gonna be given complimentary tickets in the away end so we turned up in our yellow shirts just to find out its in the home end and had to sit covered up the whole game. however it didnt take a genius to work out that we were southend as when we scored we both had massive grins on our faces and spent most the match slagging off mark yeates.

Yep two of us in West W2 second row back, one of us nearly ejected for a very loud YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS when the goal went in

You were not alone in there though FF, my Shrimpers fan brother in law was beside me in amongst all those yobs at the back :)

When your lad broke away on the line for the goal he shouted we could be in here, then your young lad scored (Yes the one he said was not very good!) he just stood there beaming from ear to ear :D
