By Chris PhillipsChief sports reporter.

SOUTHEND United's match with AFC Fylde has been rearranged.

The National League clash at Roots Hall was originally due to be played on Saturday February 1 but had to moved after the Shrimpers progressed in the FA Trophy.

As a result, Fylde will now visit the Shrimpers on Tuesday January 28.

Looking at the ticket sales there’s probably around 4000 supporters not taking sittingbourne seriously
its not the supporters im referring to ,its the person who arranged the fixture for 3 days before the Sittingbourne match, Chances of injuries etc , and will very likely have to rest quite a few of the regulars. Yes i realise it gives others a chance to impress ,but what we one match away from the qtr finals i think and chance of a Wembley match . The supporters always turn up , as you are well aware when it comes to support is there a better supported club in the VNL than Southend .
