SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher seems certain to appeal against his FA misconduct charge.
But Maher - who takes Blues to Altrincham on Saturday - looks likely to contest the decision.
“I know what I did and didn’t do,” said Maher.
“It’s where the game’s gone a bit but I’ll deal with that in due course.
“I believe we will be appealing, yes.
“I’ll talk to the club and we’ll take the right action but I don’t really want to say too much right now.”
The Shrimpers were beaten 1-0 by the Glovers after the red cards shown to goalkeeper Zach Jeacock and Maher.
And the Blues boss admitted it had been tough to stomach.
“Going home on Saturday night and it was honestly the weirdest I’ve ever felt after a game in terms of just being empty,” said Maher.
“The emotion drained from you a bit because it felt like that wasn’t allowed.
“Everyone felt that, not just me.
“The game wasn’t allowed to become what it should’ve become but we got the red card rescinded for Zach.
“Listen, I have my views but I’ll keep them to myself for now.
“We’ve got the charge to respond to and we will do that in time.”
