Shrimp Season

Ricky Otto

President⭐
Was clearing out a few bits yesterday and I found an old fanzine called "shrimp season" from 1996. I flicked through it and found it quite amusing, anyone remember it? or was anyone involved with it?

For those of you who are interested the Trust are selling Oh No... It's The Eclectic Eel - The Best (or Worst) of Shrimp Season.

It's available from the Trust Stand in the Shrimpers Bar, or from the Books & Bits Section in the Trust Shop on our Website.

Priced at only 50p with a free Shrimp Season Button Badge.

na not me i was more of a WTS man myself, really crap fanzine and at times painful to read but likable.

Roots hall Roar! Only 50p!!!!! I remember the chant well. Those were the great days when we were all rebelling against the Jobson propaganda machine that was the official match day programme. I remember a story about a young programme seller who got mugged by Wolves fans for his money on the corner of Victoria Avenue opposite Prior Park. Jobson sent someone after the kid for the money that they said he owed the club! I heard that they beat up his Dad, but not sure if that was true!

Yes, I was always a WTS man...I loved the cartoons (mostly featuring West Ham fans and Alvin Martin!)...it was extremely un-pc, but a great read.

Whatever happened to Tony the builder??
