.....John Salako said we were "fantastic" on Soccer Special (he was watching the game on a monitor), said Southend "really impressed me" and that we didn't deserve the 3-1 defeat. Special praise from him for Maher, Gutts and Freddy.

Set-pieces have cost us the game, get Efe back fit and we should be OK (Tilly will probably now give Clarke a go for Spinner in the meantime to see how he copes with CCC football).
