Shooting Stars

Yeah, I thought it was cracking. Like you, disappointed that there's no more Goerge Daws on the scores, but Angelos is a more than adequate replacement.

True or false? The Dutch language started out as joke that has now got out of hand.

TBH I never really found George Daws that funny. He had his moments, but was nothing special IMO. Angelos on the other hand is brilliant.

Bob: What did she want Angelos?

Angelos: A pork Chop

Never been a fan but caught last nights show and found it funny unlike my wife who ****ed herself and was still laughing at the true or false 90% of old people get stuck in the net curtains, will be watching from now on.
Gave miranda ten mins but not for us.

It's amusing but after 15 years perhaps it is time for Vic, Bob and the BBC should be coming up with something a bit fresher and more original?

Like Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) or the rubbish Catterick? I'd be quite happy if this carried on for another 17 years :)

I enjoyed it but its not a patch on the 90s shows for me. Mark Lemarr was a very good team captain, they had funnier guests. I didnt actually know any of the guests last night apart from the hairy biker guy. Thought George Dawes was good too although the lightbulb thing did make me laugh last night. Sad that after 15 years or so its still miles miles better than any other bbc comedy (bar the Thick of it). Miranda is just hideous and Webb and Mitchell are funnier when they dont write their own material.

Personally I've never like the programme. The only thing that used to make me laugh was Matt Lucas; he's 10 times funnier than Vic and Bob together. They should do us all a favour and disappear.

Still found it just as funny. Only thing for me is that Vics eyes must be going. Usually have a nice bit of skirt on, to which Vic does his leg rubbing movements. Yesterday though it was that rough looking piece from Eastenders.

I thought it was good last night, although it's the first one I've seen this series.
