Shooting Stars last night

Just seen the New Year in whilst watching a download of Shooting Stars:The Inside Story which was on TV for you guys last night. How funny was that? I loved that show and have been wetting myself for the past hour being reminded just how hilarious it was. Just now downloading the special one off episode of Shooting Stars that was on straight after - Vic and Bob are true comedy geniuses!

Yes....me thinks Ulrika has had a bit of work done (going by the documentary anyway, the new episode has just downloaded so will be off to watch it now).

Ah, the wonders of the t-internet!

Yeah thought that myself about that old ripper Ulrika , she defo had work done , not a good advert for Plastic surgery IMO , should of had her big puppies lifted back to former glory .

Was indeed v funny and Matt Lucas was back to his best as George Dawes , i amd Little Britians biggest critic , but just show what a **** Walliams is and that he has dragged lucas down , as the bloke is a genuinely funny fella as documented last night .

As for Jack Dee , i do honestly think he is sharp but just too dry for a programme like that .

Will be watching future episodes of SS for sure , not before i watch all the Operation Good Guys series i got for Chrimbo.

Just watched it, have to say -

- what the feck was Dave, the old barperson from The Spread Eagle, doing on Ulrika's team?

:D

Only caught the last 10 mins, couldn't believe the state of Ulrika! As Duncan says, Matt Lucas was brilliant, and I did laugh at JAck Dee trying to keep a straight face with the opera guy at the end.

The retrospective was superb - Vic and Bob are just amazingly funny when they are on top form, it was also a great reminder of Mark Lamarr's stone faced excellence, which Jack Dee failed to emulate later on in the evening. I thought they might have been able to dig up some slightly more impressive celebs for a one-off show, I knew of the androgynous gardener for some reason but had no idea who the girl was on Jack Dee's team.

I loved the retrospective and would've preferred to see a repeat from the Golden Age of the program.

Personally I didnt think last nights one off was anywhere near as good as they used to be but, hey ho, it was fun none the less.

It was great to see V'n'B use chararcters from some of their other shows in the retro program and their take on 'The 2 fat bikers' was hilarious.

Exactly what I was thinking. It's a shame he is better known for Little Britain than his genius work on Shooting Stars.

Really enjoyed the retrospective, brought back some great memories, particularly the Larry Hagman episode. The new one was a bit hit and miss, but an excellent final challenge.
